Browzwear has released a new version of VStitcher 3D software. It’s already the second version in this year. Also, the Grafis Plugin has been updated to be compatible with the newest VStitcher release.
Grafis Plugin for VStitcher enables to transfer patterns quickly and directly from Grafis CAD software to VStitcher 3D software. This allows you to update pattern design in real time in the 3D software to achieve the best results. Virtual fitting and digitalization of the processes can save materials and time during your workflow all the way from the design of the clothing collection.
There is a new parametric avatar Sofia which is a plus size avatar. Like other parametric avatars, Sofia’s body measurements, shape and pose can be edited in many ways. In addition to manual editing, you can import body measurements directly from Grafis measurement chart to several avatars. This opens new possibilities for designing, virtual fitting and creation of your collections, whether you work in made-to-measure or industrial production.
In addition to simulation pose, you can choose avatar’s prepare-pose in this new VStitcher version. The prepare-pose is avatar’s pose when the simulation starts. It makes simulation quicker and easier when the prepare-pose can be changed depending on design of the garment.
The asset library in VStitcher is constantly expanding thanks to software’s open source and Browzwear partners. New partner Avery Dennison has released a variety of labels that are available on VStitcher. Naturally, the labels are customizable to the brand style.
A new navigation option, Maya 3D Navigation Mode, can now be used instead of Browzwear navigation. In addition, many tools have evolved, and keyboard shortcuts are now available for controlling the 3D window. New features increase informativeness and user-friendliness.
