In version 2024.1 new and improved tools for faster workflow are introduced. Measuring tools have been developed further, and it is now possible to choose edges and distances between two points to be used in calculations.
Combining garments from different files is fast and easy with the new outfit function. This function allows the use of snapshots from the original VS-files making simulation smooth, reducing the need for restyling with styling tools. Layering garments is also easy, as the order of the snapshots determines the order the garments are dressed. For example, it is possible to have a shirt hem tucked in by simply changing the order of the snapshots. VStitcher handles the garment as a group, and there is no need to make manual changes to the pattern layers.
New avatars have been added to the Browzwear cloud library. Both female and male faceless avatars now have size sets available, as well as the teen avatars Brenda and Brandon. New female and male Removable Body Parts avatars are also introduced. These parametric avatars can be customized by removing specific limbs. Body Parts avatars are great for showcasing swimwear, lingerie and different types of accessories. They can also be used for designing garments for people with missing limbs.
