Browzwear VStitcher version 2025.1

The new version 2025.1 offers versatile new innovations for pattern making as well as for simulation and rendering. The new welcome screen gives quick access to recent files and has all the necessary links for accessing VStitcher support.

A new feature Replace between lines allows easy swapping of internal lines. Two internal lines in the same pattern piece can be replaced, as well as internal lines located in separate pattern pieces. When replacing internal lines, its elements such as materials, stitches and line properties can be preserved. Replace pieces function has also been updated similarly, as it is now possible to replace a pattern piece while preserving its elements.

When creating symmetry for pattern pieces or edges, both Edge symmetry and X symmetry now transfer existing stitches to the symmetrical piece or edge. It is also possible to disable this function, if the symmetrical stitches are not needed. When using the Single stitch tool, it is also possible to disable symmetry, so that stitching does not transfer to the symmetrical piece.

Adjusting avatar poses has many new features. It is now possible to select and edit multiple joints at a time, and this helps the avatar’s pose to remain more natural. The new Select hierarchy function edits the adjacent joints of the selected joint; this function is very useful for adjusting the avatar’s back or fingers. Joints can also be adjusted symmetrically, and their values can be mirrored and copied to other joints.

With the new upgrade simulation can be more realistic without adding simulation time. Grid Subdivision function allows the grid size to be smaller near edges or internal lines while the grid size elsewhere on the pattern piece remains. This function is useful when there are areas on the pattern piece where smaller grid is needed for better simulation, such as gathers. The new Layering by area function helps to layer different parts of pattern pieces while bypassing the original layering.
