In the end of 2023 and early in 2024 two new versions of Browzwear VStitcher 3D have been released with many new improvements for facilitating the workflow. Also, functions added to the versions 2022.1 and 2022.2 have been updated.
VStitcher 3D software now offers support for the use of Adobe Substance materials, such as textile materials, seams, artworks and trims. The software also offers full support for the 13K materials from Substance AssetStore.
With the update of version 2023.2 new clothes for children have been added to the cloud library, as well as new child avatars. A boy toddler avatar, and girl and boy avatars suitable for the ages of 5-10 are now available. In the version 2023.3 even more options for avatar modification have been added. The newer avatars have new editable measurements added, as well as new poses and other options for modification. It is also possible to import and export measurements from one avatar to another, and even the measurements of a non-parametric avatar can be transferred to a parametric avatar using measure tapes.
New soft avatars have been added to the cloud library with the update version 2023.2. Soft avatars are available as Olivia and Oliver, as well as the plus size avatars Sofia and Joseph. Soft avatars can be edited the same way as regular avatars, in addition to this the new softness map helps to visualize the soft areas on the avatars body.
When working with multiple sizes on version 2023.2 and higher it is now possible to arrange the pattern pieces individually by size, so the simulation runs smoothly on every size. It is also possible to hide or show selected grading sizes in the sizes pane while grading. The user can also manually position artworks for each size while maintaining the defined artwork size groups.
The newest versions now contain a mirroring function, which will allow the mirroring of artworks, seams and trims, as well as 3D-objects to the symmetrical pattern piece. Version 2023.3 also introduced a symmetrical styling option for mirroring the effects of styling tools to the corresponding symmetrical pattern piece.
Improvements with 2D measurements are added to version 2023.3. With a click of a button, it is now possible to show or hide the edge length measurements when needed. There is also a fast measure function that allows the fast measuring of patterns as well as saving these measurements. A new integrated calculator can be utilized for creating mathematical formulae with the saved measurements.
